Manual of LVP Linux version
>>>
This program product belongs to SoftSwitch category (VoIP-commutator)
and has several destinations:
1) VoIP-commutator/router that manages IP-telephony
networks and ensures efficient interaction with partner
networks, manages call routing regulations, manages
signal and media traffic;
2) Ensures proxing of VoIP-streams, conceals network
structure;
3) Executes tariffing of transit VoIP-traffic in real
time in a single point, ensures a single entrance point
for VoIP traffic concerning other operators and clients;
4) Card IP-telephony and CallBack, authorization of
subscribers with voice interface functions.
Possibilities and features
Allows to simplify the process of administering and
building up VoIP-networks (new ports are registered in
configuration file).
Flexible possibilities for traffic routing (by selection
of statistic and dynamic routing, change of termination
servers, using time-outs).
Possibility of establishing service point for card
IP-telephony with minimum expenditures. Service can be
provided to clients with their own VoIP-equipment or
traditional IP-telephone sets.
Functions of user data processing by VoIP cards:
authorization of subscribers by PIN-code, making calls
by user-entered numbers, interruption of calls,
telephone address book with possibility of shortened
dialing, shortened dialing of last number, etc.
Use of VoIP-gateways without built-in functions of voice
interface (IVR). This allows to use more economical
equipment. Calls from the city network can be adjusted
to a special virtual route lvp, then the program asks
for card number and PIN-code, authenticates the user and
after that makes a call on the number entered by the
user.
Special virtual route lvp with possibility of
authentication by number of calling subscriber
(subscriber who calls), CallBack to client, voice
inquiry of number of called subscriber (subscriber who
is called) and making a call to the called subscriber.
Specifications
Supported protocols: H.323 (H.245, H225) FAST/SLOW START
Proxing of RTP/RTCP streams (udp)
Authentication
1) Authentication of incoming calls by IP-address;
2) Authentication of incoming calls by number of calling
subscriber;
3) Authentication by card number and PIN-code (using SQL
server).
Routing
By prefix of called subscriber number and call start
date (the day of the week, time of the call).
Translation of numbers
1) Adding indicated prefix to calling subscriber number;
2) Removing indicated prefix from calling subscriber
number;
3) Adding indicated prefix to called subscriber number;
4) Removing indicated prefix from called subscriber
number;
5) Translation of numbers with use SQL server.
Billing information output
Possibility of selection (by program configuration):
1) Saving into text files;
2) Recording into SQL database (in case of failure -
e.g. SQL server is temporally inaccessible - use option
1)
3) Online monitoring (using UDP packages and the
additional client program).
Possibilities of system configuration and
management
1) Control of program parameters using configuration
files;
2) Possibility of managing main program process or
subprocesses with the help of Unix-signals
(re-read configuration file, other...).
